With over 12,000 organic chickens this farm has optimized production of both egg and meat with a net profit of over $400,000.   There are multiple structures that house chickens to include one 12’ x20’ house for 1,500 laying hens and one 14’ x 42’ brooder house with 3 sections holding a total of 5,000 chicks in total.  After the chicks leave the brooder house they are relocated in one of 30 chicken houses in the orchard where they are on grass and moved daily to improve their diet as well as fertilize the grounds.   In addition there are two 12’ x 30’ movable chicken houses in the pasture that are also moved daily.  Also raised on the farm are 26 head of Brahma/Holstein cattle raised for beef  sales.

Over 30 varieties of fruit trees and vegetables are grown on the farm with the ability to easily expand products and production.   There over 1,000 fruit trees to include:  Orange, Tangerine, Mango, Banana, Plantain, Sour Sop, Malay Apple, Craboo, Jamaican Limes, Lemon, Grapefruit, Maringa and Cashew that currently net over $100,000/year.   Other plantings are Casava, Lettuce, Tomato, Broccoli, Kale, Tomato, Jalapeno and a nursery of over 10,000 plants.

Over 10,000 Coconut trees have been planted with 1,000 ready to produce first crop in late 2018.  At $400/coconut tree the first production will be $400,000 in late 2018.  The potential for just the Coconut trees planted are over $4 Million.
